Is NAD+ a peptide?
No. It is a coenzyme, a dinucleotide. It is supplied in a pen for convenience but belongs to a different chemical class entirely.
How does this differ from 5-Amino-1MQ?
Opposite approaches to the same measure. This supplies NAD directly; 5-Amino-1MQ inhibits NNMT, the enzyme that consumes NAD precursors.
