BPC-157

BPC-157 is a synthetic fragment of body protection compound, a protein isolated from human gastric juice. It is fifteen amino acids long, which is short enough to be manufactured by solid phase peptide synthesis rather than expressed in cells, and short enough to be stable in solution without a carrier protein. Research interest centres on connective tissue and gastrointestinal models.

TB-500

TB-500 is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the actin binding region of thymosin beta 4, a protein present in most human cell types and in wound fluid. The full protein is 43 amino acids; TB-500 reproduces the short active sequence rather than the whole molecule, which is why it can be synthesised chemically and supplied in solution.
